WELCOME TO THE SET

We’re the smallest restaurant in Brighton, with just 12 seats. Ten at our kitchen counter and two in the window.

The Set is an intimate, relaxed space built around good food and being part of the experience. Low lighting, an open kitchen, and a close-up seat to everything happening in the kitchen.

We don’t advertise a menu. We cook the best food we can each day, led by produce, seasonality, and what feels right.

Across the week, there are a few different ways to eat with us. Wednesdays are M.A.D (Midweek Affordable Dinner), our shorter, more accessible tasting menu. Thursday to Saturday evenings are centred around our full Set Menu, with 15–20 servings cooked and served around the counter. Then Friday lunchtimes are for Ramen Friday - a changing bowl of ramen, with sides and pudding available too.
